The BPM Team traveled to Banff for SMPC!

The lab presented on two projects, one looking at absolute pitch and the other at working memory in ear training, at the 2024 Society for Music Perception and Cognition conference in Banff, Canada.

Dr. Erica Knowles receives the Newbury Comics Faculty Fellowship

Dr. Knowles was the 2023 recipient of the Newbury Comics Faculty Fellowship. This grant will support a new research project considering how auditory skills progress during music training, with a specific focus on the influence of improvisation training.
